Enabling Healthcare for All
Reliance Foundation believes that quality and affordable healthcare is crucial not only for overall community well-being but also for the economic and social wellbeing of the country.
The ‘Health for All’ motto and integrated healthcare model provide a continuum of care to the most vulnerable sections of society from facilitating a robust network of healthcare delivery mechanisms for intensive and crucial preventive and primary healthcare care to world-class quality tertiary care.
From deep-reaching community health initiatives and need-based, experienced health outreach services to vulnerable communities, Reliance Foundation complements these with cutting-edge and world-class quaternary care at the Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Supporting vulnerable groups
Supporting most at-need communities to access quality healthcare, the Health Outreach programme of Reliance Foundation promotes preventive healthcare alongside delivering general and specialised therapeutic care for all groups of people in collaboration with other institutions.
These initiatives strengthen community well-being and health besides focused interventions on key health problems. Besides providing general primary and preventive care, the programme runs focused initiatives to reduce the burden of health conditions like anemia, malnutrition, preventable blindness, cancers, and other non-communicable diseases like hypertension and diabetes in vulnerable groups. Recognising that malnutrition during childhood is associated with adverse health outcomes later in adult life, the programme aims to identify malnutrition early in the communities it works with.
Through its various health initiatives and services, through the years Reliance Foundation has touched the lives of over 95.8 lakh (9.58 million) people enabling them towards a healthier future.
