interventions
Reliance Foundation pursues a range of primary, secondary, and tertiary Education initiatives. Its primary Education
initiatives strive to develop teacher skills and infrastructure to expand access and improve the quality of learning.
It is establishing a network of high-quality secondary schools with new programmes to enable virtual learning and
remedial education. It is also building world-class tertiary education institutions and giving scholarships to worthy
students to help unearth talent and develop future leaders.

Jio Institute – embarking on a journey of excellence
Jio Institute is a nonprofit, interdisciplinary higher education institution designed to foster innovation and
nurture talent for India and the world. The Institute’s focus on programme design, research, innovation, and
entrepreneurship is driven by its high-powered academic leadership, comprised of eminent figures from academia,
industry, policy think-tanks, and the social sector. Its 52 acres campus at Ulwe, Navi Mumbai is a digitally-enabled
green space designed for collaboration.
New courses
Jio Institute has commenced two new one-year Postgraduate (PG) Programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Data
Science (AI & DS) and Digital Media and Marketing Communications (DM & MC) in 2022. Jio Institute also plans to
develop postgraduate courses in Journalism, Public Health and Sports Management in the near future.
