    Reliance Foundation is providing vital support to

    Primary Care Centre (PHC) in Hazira. A similar initiative

    Better health through early detection
    Reliance Foundation’s initiatives have significantly
    impacted the early detection and prevention of disease.
    Of the nearly 10,000 newly enrolled adults screened
    for preventable diseases, about 1,000 were identified
    being at risk for diabetes and 2,300 people were found
    to have high blood pressure. Around 4,100 screenings
    were conducted for oral, cervical and breast cancer
    of which 87 suspected cases were referred for further
    care. All people identified as high risk for preventable
    diseases were referred for treatment.

    Over 8,500 individuals were diagnosed, and 800 were
    treated for anaemia. As part of Reliance Foundation’s
    malnutrition prevention initiative, treatment was
    provided to 211 malnourished children.
