The Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre saw a year-on-year rise in admissions, OPD
consultations and surgeries, cementing its position as one of the top advanced care and multi-specialty facilities
in the country. It also continued to expand into holistic care and conducting mental health programmes.
RFH performed India’s first robot-assisted bariatric surgery. It was also the first institution in Asia to deploy
a specialised MRI scanner. It pursued Deep Brain Stimulation as a potential new treatment for Parkinson’s
disease and epilepsy. RFH has conducted studies on applications of 5G in tele-critical care, tele-ER and
smart ultrasonography.
