Employee Volunteering
At Reliance, volunteering has been one of the main avenues
of giving back to the community. It became more significant
than ever for us this year as we aimed to cultivate a spirit of
resilience during the pandemic.

This year, Reliance Foundation continued with the virtual
mode of volunteering and expanded it to newer areas of
engagement, in order to address present needs as well
as anticipate future challenges. Reliance Foundation has
designed these programmes in a way that harnesses the
skills of its resources and the wealth of expertise within the
organisation. It adopted a particular focus on education,
youth-oriented programmes and capacity-building of social
organisations. These volunteering initiatives have been
developed in alignment with the goals of Reliance and the UN
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and have touched the
lives of more than 20,000 people as of December 2021.
