Reliance Foundation promotes sustainable and Expanding and
innovative agricultural practices to enhance productivity
for higher returns, and enable diversification into
agri-allied activities. These initiatives are helping rural
citizens find new avenues of income avoiding over- strengthening
reliance on any one source of income.

Reliance Foundation has established a number
of strategic linkages to promote rural income
enhancement. These interventions are implemented in
collaboration with agriculture, horticulture and animal
husbandry departments, agriculture universities,
Krishi Vigyan Kendras, District Industry Centres and
other organisations, thereby creating an ecosystem of
convergence. In FY21-22, Reliance Foundation helped
42,000+ people enhance their livelihoods through
a range of agricultural, agri-allied and non-farm based
initiatives. It has also worked to empower youth
through skilling and entrepreneurship programmes and
job fairs, as part of its effort to help India harness its
demographic dividend for nation building.

In Reliance’s key CSR locations, Reliance Foundation
has provided guidance and technical support to
farmers to reduce cost of cultivation helping set up
bio-compost units, accelerated diversification by
promoting fisheries poultry established Reliance
Nutrition Gardens through seed support and technical
guidance to ensure livelihood and nutritional security.
